Jenny & Chris’s Vault 634 Wedding in Allentown
Some wedding days have a little bit of everything. Jenny and Chris’s October wedding in Allentown brought together a beautiful cathedral ceremony, an emotional first look with Dad, the historic architecture of Vault 634, and a reception that eventually turned into one hell of a dance party.
The day began at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel, where Jenny and Chris got ready with their wedding party. Jenny’s hair and makeup were handled by Alisha Nycole Beauty, while the anticipation of the day slowly built around them.
And while most couples choose to save their first look for each other, Jenny had something different in mind.
A First Look With Dad
Before heading to the ceremony, Jenny shared a first look with her father.
It was one of those quieter moments that can easily get lost in the whirlwind of a wedding day, which is exactly why we love having a camera rolling for them. Before the ceremony, before the celebration, and before everything gets loud, there was simply a father seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time.
The moment took place at the hotel before everyone headed toward St. Catherine of Siena Cathedral.
A Cathedral Wedding at St. Catherine of Siena
Jenny and Chris’s ceremony took place at St. Catherine of Siena Cathedral in Allentown. The cathedral’s dramatic architecture made for an incredible setting as the couple exchanged their vows with family and friends surrounding them.
Fr. Keith Mathur officiated the ceremony, which lasted about an hour before the newlyweds and their families moved on to the next part of the day.
Following the ceremony, family formals were held before everyone headed over to Vault 634 for the creative session and reception.

Wedding Portraits at Vault 634
Vault 634 is one of those Allentown venues that practically begs to be filmed.
The former bank’s architecture gives the wedding a distinctive backdrop, with a combination of historic details and dramatic spaces that looks fantastic on camera. Jenny and Chris took advantage of the venue for portraits and creative footage with their bridal party.
We also managed to get outside for some shots around downtown Allentown, including aerial footage once the weather cooperated.
That contrast between the grand interior of Vault 634 and the surrounding city made for some of our favorite visual moments from the day.
A Reception Full of Energy
Once the reception got underway, Sonic Entertainment kept the party moving as Jenny and Chris celebrated with their friends and family.
The evening included a first dance to Louis Armstrong’s La Vie en Rose, followed by toasts from Jenny’s father Tom Reilly, Best Man Sam Lamport, and Matron of Honor Lynette Andrews.
There were also some particularly memorable family dances, including the mother-son dance to Your Mamma Don’t Dance and the father-daughter dance to ABBA’s Slipping Through My Fingers.
But eventually, the formalities gave way to the party.
During the dancing, a confetti cannon made an appearance, and Chris’s fraternity brothers had their own plans. They broke into Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf and celebrated by dancing around Chris and tossing him into the air.
It’s exactly the sort of thing that makes a wedding film more than a collection of pretty shots.
