There’s something about a fall wedding at Olde Homestead that just hits differently. Nicole and TJ’s day had that perfect mix of calm and anticipation from the very start. In the morning, Nicole was tucked into a sunlit room surrounded by her closest people, laughter bouncing off the walls as hair, makeup, and final details came together. Across the property, TJ prepared with a steady confidence — the kind that says, “I’ve been waiting for this.”

Their first look was private and unhurried, a moment carved out just for them before the celebration began. You could see the nerves disappear the second they locked eyes. Even thought the ceremony was rushed inside at the last minute, heartfelt officiating by Joseph and the kind of emotion that quietly pulls everyone in was overflowwing. It wasn’t over-the-top. It wasn’t performative. It was real — and that’s always the good stuff.

As the evening shifted into reception mode inside The Carriage House, the tone moved from sentimental to electric. Toasts brought equal parts laughter and tears, the parent dances were deeply meaningful, and then the night took a turn in the best way when TJ’s dad’s band kicked things into high gear. From that point on, the dance floor didn’t stand a chance. Nicole and TJ’s wedding felt effortless, joyful, and completely true to who they are — which is exactly how it should be.

The team behind the day made everything flow seamlessly. Olde Homestead set the stage with its classic charm and open-air beauty, giving us endless cinematic backdrops from prep to party. The Carriage House reception space created that warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes guests want to stay on the dance floor just a little longer.

Trevor with Bar None Photo worked alongside us throughout the day, keeping portraits relaxed and natural while making sure every meaningful moment was documented. Having a photo team that understands pacing makes all the difference, especially during a tight portrait window.

The energy of the reception was driven by DJ Freddie Frederick, who kept the timeline moving smoothly before handing the spotlight over to TJ’s dad’s band Trick Stacy — a surprise that instantly elevated the night and gave the celebration a personal edge you just can’t manufacture.

Florals by Ross Plants and Flowers added texture and softness to every space, tying everything together without overpowering the setting. Sweet Girlz Bakery delivered a cake that was as elegant as it was celebratory, fitting right into the refined-but-fun vibe of the night.

Hair styling by Alisha Nycole and Co and makeup by Makeup by Roxy gave Nicole a timeless, effortless look that held beautifully from morning prep through the final dance. And officiant Joseph Milano guided the ceremony with warmth and sincerity, setting the tone for everything that followed.
