There are some wedding days where every single element falls into place perfectly, and Melanie and Ryan’s celebration at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn was one of them. Bathed in the golden light of a perfect sunny day, their wedding was a beautiful testament to their love story. From the heartfelt moments during prep to a dance floor that stayed full all night, the entire day was overflowing with joy, laughter, and an energy that was simply contagious. As cinematographers, our goal is to capture the feeling of a day, and the beauty of Melanie and Ryan’s wedding made our job an absolute delight.
The day began with excitement in the air as Melanie and her bridesmaids shared laughs and memories while getting ready in the beautiful on-site bridal suite. Meanwhile, just a short walk away, Ryan and his groomsmen were preparing in one of the cozy on-site cabins. This led to one of our favorite moments of the day: the first look. In a quiet spot near the bridal suite, Melanie and Ryan saw each other for the first time, sharing an emotional and intimate moment that set a beautiful tone for the ceremony to come. Their ceremony at Ridgecrest was nothing short of breathtaking, with the stunning vista of the Pocono Mountains serving as the ultimate backdrop for their vows.
Following the “I do’s,” the celebration flowed seamlessly to the reception, located right next to the ceremony site. The atmosphere was electric, filled with heartfelt toasts from their closest friends and family. The introductions were a perfect reflection of the couple’s fun-loving spirit, with the wedding party entering to Florence and the Machine before Melanie and Ryan made their grand entrance to “Trap Queen.” The personal touches continued with the parent dances—Ryan and his mother shared a dance to “Simple Man,” and Melanie and her father to “Little Miss Magic,” creating moments that were truly special and unforgettable.

Not only did the Ridgecrest location provide a spectacular mountain view for the ceremony, but the convenience of having everything in one place made the day flow effortlessly. The team at Stroudsmoor also provided the gorgeous floral arrangements and the delicious wedding cake, showcasing their incredible all-in-one service that ensures a cohesive and beautiful event.
